No more bleeding edges of paint. This looks like a painted wood sign. Once you heat up the vinyl the glue will adhere to almost anything. Simply put iron on vinyl is glue that is heat activated.

Follow the normal steps for working with iron on vinyl. Regular ol vinyl on wood can have trouble sticking unless you use outdoor vinyl which is super glossy and it looks like a sticker is on there. Of course there are certain things you can t put iron on vinyl on so always make sure you actually can but if you can use iron on it s awesome. With htv on wood it is so thin it seriously looks like paint.

Iron on vinyl has a more matte finish and allows the texture of the wood to show through especially with a thinner iron on vinyl like iron on lite. Even when you rub your finger over the edge you can hardly feel the transition.
