I like siser brand heat transfer materials so i headed to their website to look at their glitter heat transfer vinyl specifications.
Some htv like holographic and glitter can only be a top layer.
There are some heat transfer vinyl s that work great for layering and some that don t.

Other htvs like those in the easyweed family can peel from uneven pressure caused by seams buttons zippers etc.
Once all your layers are done you can press the entire design without any carrier sheets for the full 10 seconds to finish it off.

Some however can only be used as a top layer those are foil glitter holographic and holographic sparkle iron on material.
